I'm a single mom with two unbelievably silly, fun, bright, open, compassionate and loving children. All three of us have ADHD which can make for additional challenges (homework time has required a lot of trial and error but has sharpened all our problem solving abilities). We all have a passion for yoga. Mine started as a way to stretch out tight muscles from excessive exercise. I found that as an added bonus it also brought clarity, focus and peace to my day. It had similar effects for my children and now it is a part of their daily routine as well.
For a living, I wait tables. I went to school for Pharmacy and carried a 4.0. I had the knowledge I needed, but lacked the real world precision and accuracy. I made the right decision to change directions. In all that I do now, I am still able to satisfy my primary objective of helping people to find the ideal path. Whether it is suggesting the perfect wine to compliment their meal, tailoring exercise routines (oh yeah, I was a fitness trainer, too) or helping to find the right NATURAL supplement to address a health issue; I have found fulfilment in my ever evolving vocations-a-plenty.
I am so excited about my future with The Balance Company. I feel so clear on where I'm going. Dr. James suggested I ask how I can step out of my own way and let life flow through me. I know the answers will be revealed to me as I continue down this path.
If I won the lottery I would....
Wow!!!! That question makes me feel like a child in a twelve story toy store...where do I start? I think the answer is with what I feel emotional about. Like any parent, I want the best for my children. They both have such open and curious natures. I often feel sad that I can't nurture that beyond a special presentation at the library. I would love to take them to experience the cultures of the people who fascinate us. To have the time and the means to truly assimilate the wisdom and beauty of Indian and Chinese culture. I am so blessed to have children who are passionate about so many things. I could go on for days about the beauty of music and experiences. I think it can all be summed up with...If I won the lottery I would make my physical surroundings more in line with my mental surroundings; the things that are truly good, that make life extraordinary, that make you REALLY feel alive. So there's my answer...experience life without limits.
