About Me:
In the past the years have slipped by like a whisper, and I end not knowing where all the time went. It was as if the seasons were accelerated with such speed that the clock hands were flung from the clock. In January a spark ignited in the ether creating an explosion of changes and evolution. Now I stand here in October with leaves changing hues to mimic Prometheus' gift, and I cannot believe that winter is not yet here to end the year. I was a "hollow man" and a broken man; I was a shadow of myself locked in a box. Now I glow and vibrate with the energy of change. The drapes have lifted and the light of the great sun pierces the shadows with fire swords. It took pain to learn pleasure, but I am standing on the threshold of a new world.

In January of this year I began to look at my life clearly; I began to look for happiness. I started my journey with the book The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. Next I recieved a copy of the movie The Secret in the mail. My perspective of life was shifting. In March I scheduled a clearing session with a shaman (light worker for those that prefer that terminology) in Amarillo, Texas. Now I am attending The Great Turtle Mystery School in Northern California. What is the mystery you may ask? I am. I am peeling away the layers of other expectations. I am learning what belefs are my own, and which ones were given to me that do not serve my true self. The journey has been amazing. I choose to walk in light. Namaste.

The universe keeps sending messages that I should write. It has been a long time since I used that gift, but the universe is insistent. I better listen.
If I won the lottery I would....
FREEDOM! That one word sums up what winning the lottery means to me. It is the freedom to really experience this beautiful planet without having a life that is dictated by the plans of others. If I imagine myself winning the lottery, then I imagine a man that has gone sky diving, white water rafting, mountain climbing, and journeying abroad. I envision taking classes that I am curious about without caring if the class translates into a degree. I envision flying to see friends just because I want to whenever I want. FREEDOM! Let me say it again. FREEDOM! What a beautiful word.

Trees Stretch in the Morning Snow

This morning I was moving furniture out of Peggy's room so that I could finish removing the wall paper and prepare for painting. Suddenly I looked outside, and saw the trees.and falling snow. I began to cry and I felt an overwhelming sense of love, joy and gratitute. I felt blessed to be alive and be able to see the beauty around me. I was flooded witha sense that all things will come to good, and that whatever delays I encounter in my plans are merely delays and not failures. I accept that…

Healthy Emotional Expression

Emotions are valuable tools. They serve as guides for us in this journey through life. If we are feeling sadness, anger or any other emotion normally considered as uncomfortable or negative we are being given the opportunity to learn. Our emotions are our guideposts. By exploring these emotions we can find the source of them. By finding the source of those emotions we can identify what we want

Energy

Today I walked in the house to make lunch, and the television momentarily caught my attention. One of the major soft drink brands was advertising a version of its beverage with more caffeine and an added dose of ginseng to boot. There is an obsession with energy right now. There are new energy drinks on the market all the time. Is this a by product of what our lives have become? Technology was supposed to free us. Comm

My Introduction to Yoga

This month at The Great Turtle Mystery School I was introduced to Kundalini Yoga for the first time. It was an amazing experience, and I had no idea what a positive effect that it would have. I could feel my life force pulsing through my body. At the end of the movements, sitting in the silence movies began to play in my head. I could remember being born, and in the darkness I saw a door that emanated light. I knew that this is the door I am opening now. I am stepping into a path of beauty.

Keeping a Journal Clears the Soul

There was a time when I was I always scribbling in a journal. The air was alive with the electricity of words. I devoured volumes of poetry like an addict trembling for a free verse fix. Reading Allen Ginsberg's poem "America" had changed my life. I had never known until then that poetry could express so much emotion and beauty. I was hooked. Sometimes I had to pull the car over on the side of the road because I was afraid to loose the words that were running through my mind at the speed of a…

Hi Christopher. You really caught my attention, so much, but especially this part "The Great Turtle Mystery School". Have you met Winddancer (Sage Lynn Seimon)? She is one of my energy light workers as well.
Namaste,
Ananda

HA! That's awesome to meet you, Christopher-with-the-same-last-name-as-me! My family is so large, I'm positive I have relatives in Texas. The last ones I knew of down south were my aunt 'Nita and her kids, who aren't close to our family but whom I remember very fondly. You look like a Weddle, and I hope you don't mind my saying so. Nice to meet you, Christopher.

THanks for the comment on my photo, Chris! To answer you questions, I was able to get the blurred "dreamy movement"effect in the capture stage (I used a lens baby 3.0- those are way cool!)

So you are into photography too?

How wonderful that we are doing what we are passionate about and learning about ourselves. I am so curious about what it is that creates our reality, how we influence, how to continue to be in the flow ... clairvoyance, eh? I would love to hear what you are discovering through that. Keep in touch, :)
