Creating Your Profile on Bodhian.net / MySpace.com

So you're ready to create your profile. Congratulations.

Its easy really. There is no right or wrong way to do it.

Here's some suggestions on how to create an effective email.

Use a Picture of Yourself
Dont use a picture of FrequenSea or the Forever Green Logo. People want to be friends with a real person. Your main picture should be a picture of you.

What to Write

Here's an outline you can use if you like. It's only a suggestion.

Paragraph 1
If I could only share one thing with you about me it would be...
Tell your prospect what you like best about yourself, something unique about you, something fascinating, something that sets you apart, something cool you've done, something you're really proud of. You coudl start the whole thing with "The Funnest thing I've ever done is....."

Paragraph 2
Aside from that I'm...
Tell your prospect about your family, your hobbies, your interests.

Paragraph 3
Tell your personal story about your business.
What is it you will create. Share what you pklan to do with the extra money it will generate.

This part is very important because the things you like best about having your own business are probably the very things your prospect is seeking. Knowing that you have those things will be very compelling to the reader.

You can say. "What I appreciate most about having my own business is that I get to set my own hours" or something like that. Tell why you decided to pursue your own business, how you got involved and how you ended up where you are today.

The video code from the back office doesn't work on MySpace. It uses iFrames and MySpace doesn't allow them.

I have some great news. Myspace have added a new feature that allowes this to happen with very little effort!!
Myspace have just introduced their own profile editor, no need for CSS or HTML all in real time and really easy to create new look personalised profiles.

Log in to your myspace account enter http://profileedit.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=profile.editor In your url and the editor will come up in a new window over the front of your profile so you can see each bit change as you go
